As a Frontend Developer at MasterWorks you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into highquality responsive frontend code. The ideal candidate is passionate about web technologies and has a keen eye for detail ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop userfacing features and ensure that the application is responsive and scalable.
- Collaborate with designers to create engaging userfriendly web applications.
- Write clean modular and maintainable code using HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct peer code reviews providing and receiving feedback to improve overall code quality.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase debugging issues and making enhancements.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services into the application.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
- Document development processes code changes and best practices for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript with a strong understanding of web standards.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks and libraries such as React Angular or Vue.js is a plus.
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobilefirst development.
- Understanding of version control systems especially Git.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and optimization techniques.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and best practices.
