Our client in Qatar is looking to hire a PMO Specialist.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering or a relevant professional qualification.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT and/or business project management roles.
- Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g. MS Projects EPM) and ERP tools (e.g. SAP).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
- Expertise in IT projects and business processes across various industries.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain highquality standards in project deliverables.
- Strong data and business analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with professional conduct.
- Familiarity with Qatargas IT strategy policies and industry regulations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed reports on project demand and its impact on operations.
- Facilitate project investment appraisals and document decisionmaking processes.
- Produce detailed project and portfolio reports including cost summaries.
- Provide administrative support to project boards and quality review meetings.
- Monitor and report program/portfolio progress to senior management.
- Guide teams on project management tools processes and proposals.
- Maintain and update project management software for effective tracking.
- Facilitate steering committees and quality review sessions.
- Administer change control processes to ensure scope cost and timeline compliance.
- Maintain and review performance metrics and recommend improvements.
