Position: Specialist Laboratory

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Laboratory to join our client in Tripoli Libya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work and possess excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. The Specialist Laboratory will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses interpreting results and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses using specialized equipment and techniques
- Interpret and analyze test results ensuring accuracy and precision
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all laboratory tests and data
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during testing
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new testing methods and procedures
- Stay informed on industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology
- Train and mentor junior laboratory staff
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely and accurate reports on test results
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. chemistry biology biochemistry)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Experience working with specialized laboratory equipment and instruments
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory setting
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
