Job Purpose
The Senior Digital Solutions & ERP Operations Specialist plays a key role in the Digital Solutions & Oracle Operations department focusing on implementing optimizing and integrating enterprise resource planning (Oracle ERP) systems and digital solutions. This role supports the Digital Solutions & Oracle Operations Manager in executing strategic initiatives and ensuring the efficient functioning of digital systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Solutions Analysis
- Identify and evaluate complex solutions against business needs.
- Recommend the most effective approaches based on established criteria.
Data Management
- Work within established data management systems and procedures to deliver expected outcomes.
Customer Management (Internal)
- Support internal customers by ensuring their ERP and digital solution needs are met effectively.
Improvement/Innovation
- Identify process system or procedural shortcomings and implement change management programs to address them.
Technical Tasks
Reports Development
- Develop and manage reports using Oracle Reports 10g/11g and BI Publisher.
- Utilize XML and XSL programming for reporting purposes.
Interfaces Development
- Use Oracle Open Interface tables and Public APIs to integrate systems.
- Develop highperforming custom PL/SQL programs for batch and realtime integrations.
System Extensions
- Extend and personalize Oracle EBS functionality using custom APIs alerts and user hooks.
- Create new workflows and extend seeded workflows.
- Develop new forms using Forms 10g and/or Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
Database Maintenance
- Perform Oracle database installation configuration upgrades patching and backup/recovery.
- Proactively monitor database performance and capacity providing trend analysis.
- Administer database security tuning and optimization to ensure availability and data integrity.
- Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to monitor databases and hosted environments.
Integration Support
- Assist in integrating ERP systems with other business applications.
- Collaborate with integration teams to define requirements and develop interfaces.
- Support testing and validation efforts to ensure reliable data exchanges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical integration issues.

Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
Experience
- 35 years of experience in digital solutions ERP operations or related fields.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems like SAP Oracle EBS R12 or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience in implementing and upgrading Oracle EBS R12.
- Proficiency in integration technologies and methodologies.
- Handson experience with SQL PL/SQL programming and Oracle EBS development standards.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts Linux/Unix OS programming and Oracle Application Developer Framework.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware issues is a plus.
