We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist for a governmentowned organization operating under a sovereign wealth fund playing a vital role in providing essential utility services including electricity water and wastewater in a key region. Known for its commitment to innovation and operational excellence the company is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and infrastructure security ensuring reliable and sustainable utility solutions.
Tasks
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity or a related field and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain preferably with expertise in critical infrastructure or SCADA systems.
The role demands proficiency in network security standards intrusion detection systems and SCADA network architecture along with handson experience in troubleshooting root cause analysis and the use of cybersecurity tools and applications.
Strong skills in reporting planning and risk assessment are essential as is a solid understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and HSE policies.
Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to manage user privileges ensure physical security and maintain cybersecurity incident statistics while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of policies and practices.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on critical infrastructure or SCADA systems preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network security standards intrusion detection systems and SCADA network architecture.
- Skilled in troubleshooting cybersecurity issues and root cause analysis.
- Experience with cybersecurity applications tools and incident management.
Other Competencies:
- Strong reporting and planning skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with HSE standards and policies.
