  • Job Title: Event Account Manager

    Department: Event Management

    Reports To: Senior Event Manager / Director of Events

    Job Summary: The Event Account Manager is responsible for managing and Acquiring new client accounts coordinating event logistics and ensuring the successful execution of events. This role involves close collaboration with clients vendors and internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss event details progress and any changes.
    • Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns promptly.
  • Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines budgets and task lists.
    • Coordinate with vendors suppliers and venues to secure necessary resources and services.
    • Ensure all event logistics including transportation accommodations and catering are properly arranged.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create and manage event budgets ensuring all expenses are tracked and within the allocated budget.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain the best rates and services.
    • Prepare financial reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Event Execution:
    • Oversee the onsite execution of events ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan.
    • Manage event staff and volunteers providing clear instructions and support.
    • Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events making quick decisions to resolve them.
  • PostEvent Activities:
    • Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed event reports including financial summaries and client feedback.
    • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and discuss future event opportunities.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies and materials.
    • Utilize social media and other channels to promote events and engage with target audiences.
    • Assist in the creation of promotional content including brochures flyers and online advertisements.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions event details and financial transactions.
    • Update event management software and databases with relevant information.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the event management team.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and account management preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and travel as needed for events.
  • Desired Skills:
