Job Description
As a General Accountant at Nord Anglia International School Al Khor you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with Finance Manager to ensure compliance with accounting principles and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daytoday accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and yze financial statements and reports.
- ist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthend and yearend close procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and doentation.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary doentation.
- Perform other accounting duties as igned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ss.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving ss.
- Effective communication and interpersonal ss.
