Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite inspections to monitor the progress and quality of architectural work ensuring adherence to project plans specifications and Qatar construction regulations.
- Supervise and inspect the execution of construction works ensuring that the design intent construction quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review architectural drawings plans and specifications to ensure construction activities comply with established guidelines and requirements.
- Identify and address potential construction issues or deviations from the approved plans designs and standards and provide timely recommendations to resolve them.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and document any noncompliance or discrepancies and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with architects engineers contractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship onsite ensuring compliance with the projects specifications and industry best practices.
- Verify compliance with building codes safety regulations and environmental guidelines as per Qatars regulations.
- Assist in the review and approval of shop drawings materials submittals and other relevant project documents.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during project implementation
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of handson experience in architectural inspection construction supervision or a similar role within the building industry.
- Proven experience in supervising and managing construction and architectural projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings building codes and local construction regulations in Qatar.
- Proficient in identifying construction issues or deviations from project plans and specifications and suggesting corrective actions.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite construction management software and other relevant tools.
- MMUP (Municipal Planning and Urban Development Authority) and UPDA (Unified Planning and Development Authority) certification is preferred.
