Roles and responsibilities

Value & Growth Advisory (VGA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software System Architect to join our team in Al Asimah, Kuwait. This full-time, on-site position will involve a broad range of responsibilities focused on designing, developing, and optimizing software systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software and system architecture, software development, and requirements analysis, ensuring the successful delivery of high-performance software solutions that meet business objectives.

As a Software System Architect, your core responsibilities will include:

1. System Architecture Design: You will be responsible for designing the overall structure of complex software systems, considering both high-level architecture and detailed component-level design. This includes selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and methodologies to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

2. Requirements Analysis: You will engage with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that software solutions are aligned with the organization's goals. This will involve creating detailed technical documentation and translating business needs into actionable system specifications.

3. Software Development: In this role, you will play a hands-on part in the development of software systems. You will design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions, leveraging your expertise in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). This includes coding, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment.

4. Software Design: You will ensure that the software is designed with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and security. This includes designing intuitive user interfaces (UI) and ensuring a high-quality user experience (UX) across all touchpoints.

5. Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, will be key to your success. You will also play a vital role in communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
