The role focuses on assessing and valuing new business opportunities for Club Car, specifically aimed at developing and deploying initiatives that drive growth in line with the Long Range Plan (LRP) and annual operating plan. The individual will collaborate with senior leaders across various business segments to influence and guide business development activities, particularly in relation to the launch of the new Street Legal URBAN electric vehicle.
Key objectives include driving sales and managing key account development across selected segments to identify and close opportunities for URBAN. This involves working closely with channel partners, Regional Managers, and strategic accounts to achieve unit volume and financial targets. The role requires defining key account targets, understanding their electric vehicle needs, and leveraging partnerships to enhance business prospects and market share. This will be achieved through a combination of developing and executing deals, as well as supporting channel execution through Regional Sales Managers.
The job encompasses three major dimensions:
Account Profiling: Identifying potential customers across various segments, such as municipalities, retail chains, hotel groups, pharmaceutical companies, industrial sectors, hospitals, rental companies, and last-mile delivery services.
Account Tiering: Organizing accounts into defined categories to facilitate effective management and development.
Value Statement Creation: Crafting compelling value propositions for Club Car's Street Legal/URBAN solutions, highlighting their unique benefits in the marketplace. Collaboration with sales leadership, marketing, and product management will be essential for this.
The successful candidate must communicate effectively with all functions involved in driving immediate growth while also shaping medium- and long-term strategies. Frequent national and international travel (minimum 60%) is required to support these efforts.
