Roles and responsibilities

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire creative process for our upcoming project, which includes the production of a hero video and an after film. This position demands a strategic thinker who can effectively manage timelines, budgets, and coordination among various creative teams. The goal is to ensure that all deliverables align with the event’s branding and storytelling objectives.

In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining branding guidelines, coordinating venue branding efforts, and managing the production of collateral materials. They will work closely with the Art Director and Content Writers to ensure the hero video and after film are executed seamlessly, reflecting the event's vision and enhancing its overall impact.

Collaboration will be a key component of this position, as the Project Manager will liaise with key stakeholders from SMC and SAGP. Regular communication and alignment with these stakeholders are essential to ensure that the video production meets expectations and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Process Oversight: Lead the creative team through all stages of video production, from initial concepts to final delivery.
2. Budget and Timeline Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all aspects of production stay on track and within financial limits.
3. Team Coordination: Facilitate effective collaboration among various teams, including creative, technical, and operational staff, while managing any challenges that arise under pressure.
4. Branding Compliance: Ensure that all produced materials adhere to established branding guidelines and reflect the event’s core message.
5. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain open lines of communication with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to ensure alignment throughout the production process.
6. Venue and Collateral Production: Oversee the branding of the event venue and the production of all collateral materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and aesthetic.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have 3-5 years of experience working within an agency or design studio environment. A comprehensive understanding of the agency process, traffic management, and client management is essential. The ability to manage a full team under pressure, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, is crucial.

Additionally, candidates must be able to operate fully from the client premises in Jeddah, which will require adaptability and a proactive approach to on-site challenges. Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail will contribute to the successful execution of the project and the delivery of high-quality content that resonates with the target audience.
