About the Job:
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing quality control procedures conducting inspections and monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Duties:
Employees should adhere to company rules and fulfill their assigned responsibilities while also recognizing that their duties may extend beyond the specific tasks outlined. Employees should maintain professional conduct by showing respect and courtesy to all colleagues adhering to the dress code and using professional communication skills. Proper hygiene accurate attendance and mindful use of company property are also essential for maintaining professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections on production processes ensuring compliance with the companys quality safety and hygiene standards.
- Impose practices that prevent crosscontamination and preserve nutritional value of food during the whole preparation process until the end.
- Test products send periodic samples to food laboratories supervise the quality control of raw and canned food to guarantee high standards in final products.
- Monitor the overall sections of operations identify areas for improvement and provide necessary training and guidance to staff in collaboration with the Training Coordinator.
- Ensure all employees strictly adhere to SOPs and food safety protocols offering advice on best practices for food preparation storage and food transportation.
- Monitor the aggregators food handling to ensure high quality of deliverables.
- Develop strategies to preserve food freshness and extend its shelf life.
- Monitor food storage in warehouses fridges and chillers and abide by municipality recommendations.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints related to food quality providing resolutions and implementing improvements in collaboration with different departments.
- Document and maintain records of quality control activities including product testing and inspections while preparing reports to track and resolve quality issues.
- Develop and implement inspection schedules across the Central Production Unit (CPU) and branches ensuring equipment and processes function according to quality standards.
- Ensure high quality in overall production to preserve the companys sustainability.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies during audits stay updated on industry standards and work with the Lean Six Sigma team to optimize operations and minimize inefficiencies.
- Conduct regular audits on procurement activities to ensure alignment with production specifications and to evaluate potential alternative solutions that will enhance efficiency cost savings or quality.
- Perform regular audit practices on technical recipes practices.
- Perform regular audits on packaging Units measuring tools to ensure they abide by the companys specifications.
- Perform regular audits on branches stores warehouses and all areas to evaluate their practices and provide necessary guidance.
- Assess hygiene practices and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Investigate product defects identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct quality control workshops to familiarize staff with quality standards and procedures.
- Stay uptodate with SFDA norms and industry rules and regulations to implement the necessary updates on the quality control processes.
Requirements:
- Background in food science Industrial Engineering or Chemistry.
- Experience in quality control or food safety management.
- Minimum of 35 years in quality control or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Excellent communication skills.
