Our client is a marketing communication group with regional and local expertise in all aspects of Marketing Communications Public Relations Event Management Social Media and Public Speaking.
They are seeking a Head of Project Management to join their dynamic team in Riyadh and spearhead the project management initiative for their Events Management business.
Main Responsibilities:
1 Event Oversight & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of event strategies from concept ideation to final evaluation.
- Oversee all stages of event planning ensuring adherence to high standards and alignment with company objectives.
- Develop creative and innovative event concepts tailored to meet diverse client needs.
2 Project & Team Management
- Directly manage a team of project managers providing guidance setting objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Create clear timelines milestones and objectives for each event ensuring teams meet all deadlines and deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative environment by conducting kickoff and regular sync meetings with project managers and crossfunctional teams.
3 Vendor & Stakeholder Relations
- Oversee the vendor selection process negotiating contracts and building relationships to secure highquality partnerships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for escalation quickly addressing and resolving critical issues to ensure smooth event execution.
- Provide regular updates to the Managing Director including progress reports budget tracking and postevent summaries.
4 CrossDepartment Coordination
- Facilitate coordination among internal departments (e.g. marketing creative logistics) to align teams on event goals.
- Support project managers in securing resources and removing obstacles ensuring teams can execute projects effectively.
- Act as the liaison between project teams and senior management presenting key project updates and resolving highlevel concerns.
5 Client & Competitive Engagement
- Play an active role in clientfacing pitches tenders and competitive proposals showcasing the companys event capabilities.
- Build and maintain client relationships to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored event solutions.
6 PostEvent Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead postevent debriefs analyzing performance metrics and client feedback to improve future event planning processes.
- Implement lessons learned into best practices and ensure consistent application across all event projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in any related field.
- 10 Years of experience in events management industry.
- Proven experience in spearheading project management initiatives for events.
- Must be an Arabic Speaker with Fluency in English.
