Job Title: Assistant Logistics Manager (Multinational)
Location: Cairo Egypt
Contract Details: Fulltime

We are a multinational company that specializes in the production and distribution of highquality products. Our company is committed to providing exceptional service and products to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Logistics Manager to join our team in Cairo Egypt.
Position Overview:
As the Assistant Logistics Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager in overseeing the logistics operations of our plant in Cairo. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of raw materials and products within the plant. Your main responsibilities will include creating department structure negotiating with service providers setting up coordination procedures and implementing training and development plans for team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Logistics Manager in creating a department structure for the logistics team within the plant.
- Distribute job descriptions to team members and ensure that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
- Negotiate with service providers and prepare their KPIs to ensure the best and most costeffective services are provided.
- Set up coordination procedures (SOPs) to ensure the smooth operation of both raw materials and products within the plant.
- Develop and implement training and development plans for team members to improve their skills and knowledge in logistics operations.
- Monitor and review the performance of the logistics team providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient coordination and communication within the plant.
- Identify areas for improvement in the logistics process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously mprove logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in logistics management preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing service providers.
- Knowledge of coordination procedures and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
