Roles and responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to craft and execute a strategic IAM vision, complete with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess its effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise IAM Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design a robust IAM strategy that meets organizational needs. This includes defining clear KPIs to measure the program’s success and impact across the enterprise.

2. Strategic Roadmap for Multi-Cloud Platforms: Develop a detailed strategy and architectural roadmap that ensures IAM policies and standards are compatible with multi-cloud environments. This will involve evaluating current practices and making necessary adjustments to support a diverse cloud landscape.

3. Zero-Trust Alignment: Implement comprehensive solutions for identity provisioning and deprovisioning, reinforcing secure authentication and authorization protocols. Your focus will be on creating an end-to-end IAM solution that aligns with zero-trust principles.

4. Integration with Cybersecurity Frameworks: Ensure that IAM requirements are aligned with established cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and the Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). This alignment is critical for maintaining a strong security posture.

5. Collaboration with Application Teams: Work alongside application teams to integrate the IAM roadmap, particularly in the development and adoption of Privileged Access Management (PAM) practices. Publish best practices to promote the effective use of IAM services across teams.

6. Promoting Just-In-Time Access: Advocate for the integration of Just-In-Time (JIT) access within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, applying cloud best practices to enhance IAM strategies and reduce security risks.

7. Championing Modern IAM Security Principles: Act as a change agent within the organization, promoting advanced security engineering practices. Conduct design reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in security architecture, fostering a culture of proactive security.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years in IAM service delivery, with at least 5 years focused on zero-trust architecture in cloud environments, specifically Oracle, AWS, and Azure.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, including Identity Assurance, and proficiency in Microsoft IAM solutions, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and PAM.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of Identity Federation, Access Management, and Directory Services, as well as proficiency in SAML, OAUTH, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Design Skills: Proven experience in designing secure, scalable IAM solutions and familiarity with IAM threats and agile methodologies.
• Certifications: Relevant IAM and cloud certifications, with a preference for Azure qualifications.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
