Roles and responsibilities

As a Back-End Developer at Condor Gaming, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our websites and applications. Your role will involve collaborating closely with front-end developers and various stakeholders to create robust APIs, manage databases, and optimize server performance, ultimately delivering an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing server-side logic that powers our websites. This includes handling requests and responses between the server and client, ensuring a smooth and efficient data flow. You will write and maintain scalable, efficient server-side code that can handle the growing demands of our user base.

One of your primary tasks will be designing, implementing, and managing databases that store essential content, user information, and other critical data. You will create secure, fast, and well-documented APIs to connect front-end services with back-end functionalities, facilitating effective communication between different parts of our systems. Your experience with integrating third-party APIs—such as payment gateways and social media logins—will be vital in enhancing our platform's functionality.

Optimizing server response times and database queries will be a critical aspect of your role, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness for our users. You will also implement caching strategies to reduce server load and improve user experience, making sure that our applications run smoothly even during peak traffic times.

Collaboration is key at Condor Gaming, and you will work closely with front-end developers to ensure that website functionality is seamless and user-friendly. Desired candidate profile

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have up to two years of experience in back-end development, specifically focused on building scalable and efficient server-side applications. Your expertise in Apache HTTPD and PHP 7.4+ will be crucial, as will your proficiency in MySQL 8. Familiarity with SASS and advanced query techniques will also enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects.
