Roles and responsibilities

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface for our innovative products in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, your mission is to craft intuitive, user-centric designs that demystify complex DeFi processes, enhance security, and drive user engagement. This role requires a robust understanding of DeFi principles, exceptional design skills, and a steadfast commitment to a user-first approach to create industry-leading experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership: You will spearhead the design of new features and enhancements, guiding them from concept through delivery. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless, user-friendly experiences across all products.

User-Centered Approach: Conducting thorough user research will be central to your role. You will develop detailed user personas to uncover the needs and motivations of DeFi users, using these insights to inform your design direction and create solutions that resonate with our target audience.

Prototyping: You will be responsible for creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively visualize your ideas. This iterative process will allow you to gather valuable feedback during the early development stages, ensuring the final product aligns closely with user expectations.

UI/UX Optimization: Your expertise will be crucial in refining interfaces to simplify complex interactions, optimize user flows, and promote security. By focusing on usability, you’ll help users navigate DeFi products with confidence and ease.

Collaborative Design Process: Partnering with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, and marketing—will be essential. You’ll align design solutions with both business objectives and technical requirements, ensuring a holistic approach to product development.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing analytics and user feedback, you will guide design improvements and iterate on product features. Your analytical mindset will help measure design effectiveness and inform future enhancements.

Brand Consistency: Ensuring that all design work aligns with our brand guidelines is crucial. You will deliver a cohesive and engaging experience across all user touchpoints, reinforcing brand identity and trust.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have a comprehensive understanding of DeFi protocols and blockchain-based products, with prior experience in DeFi or blockchain design preferred. A minimum of 3 years in product design is essential, along with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX skills across both web and mobile platforms.

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is required, and familiarity with front-end technologies will be a plus. Your experience in user research, usability testing, and applying insights to elevate design will be invaluable. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating design decisions and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
