Job Summary/Purpose:
Senior Manager FICO leads and manages the entire process of client support solutions related to SAP FICO Financial Modules SAP Executive Dashboards and MIS reporting in order to facilitate informed decision making by the management and improve business performance.
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
1. Prepare annual plans and budgets to meet the IT strategic objectives.
2. Monitor implementation of the annual plans and measure achievements of results against budgets and objectives and take corrective measures as appropriate.
3. Recommend annual strategy in areas of SAP (designated portfolios) to best fit within the Group.
Operational:
1. Establish financial and reporting processes to streamline and minimize cycle times through automated applications and process improvement.
2. Perform risk assessment on the financial controls/processes and reporting formats identify any gaps and finalize the solutions to mitigate the risks.
3. Advise on the final processes to phase out dependencies on legacy databases processes and reporting tools.
4. Oversee the implementation and support of SAP Financials Controlling and Reporting modules.
5. Establish the right sources to collect business intelligence data in order to highlight trends and assess the set of business reporting requirements.
6. Contribute to finalize the Business Intelligence dashboards to provide the management take strategic business decisions.
7. Review all project plans existing or extensions with detailed schedules identify any nonfeasible solutions and provide alternatives.
8. Keep track of all ongoing projects their progress and resources utilization to ensure successful completion of the projects in accordance with the plan.
9. Assess all escalated technical issues and ensure that the necessary product modifications are developed.
10. Approve the SAP designs test scenarios and technical specification documents related to designated modules ensuring the quality standards and SLAs are met.
11. Audit the data consistency and integrations between various SAP modules and measures taken to close any identified gaps.
12. Monitor critical project situations and provide practical and costefficient solutions in order to meet the project deadlines.
13. Review the final training presentations for the employees to better comprehend how to avail the full benefit of the technological solutions.
14. Provide recommendations on third parties/vendors which can deliver cost effective and practical solutions to escalated issues which need external expertise.
15. Maintain knowledge of the latest technologies and best practices in all the designated modules.
People Management:
1. Identify set and agree on KPIs and objectives.
2. Prepare performance planning (PP) conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.
3. Recommend employee promotions salary adjustments disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.
4. Identify staffing needs participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.
5. Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Group policies and procedures.
6 Ensure increasing levels of employee satisfaction and improve the efficiency of manpower.
Educational Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor Degree or equivalent with 14 years of experience.
Certification and Licensure: SAP certification in SAP FICO/Analytics/ BI/BO and PMP
