Job Title: Production Engineer (FitOut and Carpentry/ Exhibitions Exp.)
Location: KSA
Job Type: FullTime
Reports to: Production Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in fitout and carpentry to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the planning execution and supervision of production operations in our fitout and carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of both the production and design aspects of carpentry interior fitout work and will ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Management
- Develop production schedules and resource allocation plans for fitout and carpentry projects.
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Coordinate with project managers architects and designers to ensure design specifications align with production capabilities.
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Implement quality control processes to ensure finished products meet required standards.
- Monitor work quality resolve any production issues and suggest improvements to enhance workmanship.
- Technical Oversight
- Provide technical guidance to the carpentry and fitout teams on production methods tools and materials.
- Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of technical drawings and design plans.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce safety standards and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory & Materials Management
- Manage procurement and inventory of materials and tools for production.
- Work with suppliers to maintain quality cost and timeliness of materials.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise train and support carpentry and fitout team members to ensure high productivity and quality.
- Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive work environment for the production team.
- Project Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenses to stay within project cost constraints.
- Identify costsaving opportunities without compromising on quality or design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil or a related field).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in production engineering with a focus on fitout and carpentry and Exhibitions .
- Strong knowledge of carpentry woodwork production and interior fitout materials and methods.
- Familiarity with CAD software and design tools (AutoCAD SketchUp etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent project management organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations in construction and production.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or similar production methodologies.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
