Desired candidate profile

Essential Qualifications:

• Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the European energy markets, including power, gas, and oil, is crucial. Familiarity with market trends, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks will enable you to provide valuable insights and support to the trading teams.

• Platform Proficiency: Experience with trading platforms such as Endur or Allegro is essential. You will leverage these tools to enhance trading efficiency and accuracy in data management.

• Deal Lifecycle Exposure: A thorough understanding of at least three key aspects of the full deal lifecycle is required. This includes:

  • Trading Entry: Collaborating with traders to ensure accurate and timely entry of trades into the system, focusing on efficiency and minimizing errors.
  • Valuation & Risk Management: Analyzing market data to assess the value of trades and manage associated risks. You will work with quantitative models to provide actionable insights that inform risk mitigation strategies.
  • Confirmations & Settlements: Facilitating the confirmation process and ensuring settlements are executed correctly. You will coordinate with counterparties to validate trade details and resolve any discrepancies that may arise.

• Market Data Feeds: Understanding market data feeds is vital for maintaining up-to-date information critical for trading decisions. You will work to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data utilized in trading activities.
