Roles and responsibilities

Satguru Travel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. This key role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and driving growth in our travel and tourism services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying New Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and markets to expand Satguru Travel's reach and influence. This involves conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.

  • Building Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Your ability to connect with clients and understand their requirements will be critical in establishing long-term partnerships.

  • Developing Growth Strategies: Create and implement innovative strategies that align with the company’s goals. This includes setting sales targets and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure these goals are met.

  • Achieving Sales Targets: Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets set for the region. Your performance will be measured against these targets, requiring a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential new services that could enhance Satguru Travel's portfolio.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive travel solutions that meet client needs. Your ability to collaborate effectively will be key to driving business success.


Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a knack for persuasive presentation.
  • A track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the travel and tourism industry is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
