Roles and responsibilities
Camlin Energy is currently seeking to recruit a Region Sales Leader to cover Middle East (including KSA, UAE, Bahrain & Oman). The role will be “remote” reporting to Camlin’s Sales Director for Rest of World, though intention is to establish permanent office in Region. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of selling high value solutions to customers in the Energy & Utilities market. This challenging, rapidly changing and exciting business needs the best people to bring market leading solutions into the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the region’s sales, strategic alliances (including Distribution Partners) and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute growth plan for Middle East.
- Sell and promote Camlin solutions to customers via Partner network and direct sales.
- Work with Partner Success Program leader to review existing Partner network.
- Work with Global Service Director to develop and implement plan to enhance technical support for Partners & End Customers in region.
- Conduct frequent business reviews with Partners.
- Provides specific industry and/or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within defined territory.
- Work with Partners to manage Key Accounts and coordinate appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities
- Represent Camlin at trade shows, fairs & conferences promoting Camlin products and services.
- Build and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
- Prepare accurate sales forecast information on regular basis utilising a combination of active customer information and market intelligence.
- Establish productive and professional working relationships with Camlin customers and partners in order to deliver value for both our customers and Camlin.
- Improve customer satisfaction by understanding customer requirements, communicating and delivering solutions to exceed their expectations.
- Cooperate closely with Camlin internal teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer’s overall satisfaction.
- To operate to the highest business standards, manage risk and protect the Camlin Group brand.
Desired candidate profile
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in managing a sales territory within the energy/ power/ sectors is essential.
- Strong domain expertise in Energy & Utilities, with experience of selling both equipment and software desired.
- Proven sales experience and a firm track record in a technical environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Target driven individual who thrives under pressure and is ambitious to succeed.
- Ability to travel throughout Middle East region.
- English language essential, other languages preferred.
Desired Criteria
- Depending on experience educated to Degree Level or equivalent in Electrical/ Mechanical / Technical or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Broad commercial experience and highly professional sales and business development skills.
- Competent in managing the specification process from inception through to delivery.
- Analysis of customer requirement and matching overall solutions possibilities to our skills and products.
- Experience of managing customer expectations and relationships within company deliverables.
