Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Store Clerk to manage and maintain our inventory ensuring efficient and organized storage and timely stock handling. The Store Clerk will also be responsible for recordkeeping and maintaining accurate inventory data using Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive verify and organize incoming stock and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory including tracking stock levels locations and usage.
- Assist in inventory audits and report discrepancies to management.
- Prepare and issue items as requested ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to record and manage data and perform basic calculations as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with procurement for reordering purposes.
- Keep storage areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory needs.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with productrelated questions when required.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
Secondary Education with a certificate in Computer Knowledge Stores Management Procurement Accountancy or a related field from a recognized institution.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in both written and spoken Swahili and English is essential.
Excellent customer service skills.
