Roles and responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

• Exchange of scientific information with KOLs, HA and other clients
• Plan and execute scientific experts (KOLs) engagement
• Providing medical insight and input to cross-functional team
• Providing medical and scientific support to all functions and processes on country level (eg. Business Development, marketing, regulatory and PV, pricing & reimbursement)
• Disseminating scientific knowledge and contributing to conduct of products
• Communication and providing applicable medical support/input to partner companies according to existing agreements on regional level
• Effectively contribute to maintenance cross-functional systems/services to ensure promotional and regulatory compliance
• Organization of non-promotional activities
• Review for scientific accuracy and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials and events
• Interactions with speakers and providing information and other supports to persons who are recognized as experts in their fields
• Supporting marketing functions with relevant scientific input
• Input for implementation of risk managements plans as applicable
• Supporting regulatory/PV group in validation of medical and regulatory translations (as back up person if required)
• Providing medical expertise in the business portfolio development and supporting local product registration/reimbursement
• Assisting partners in conducting Expanded Access/Compassionate Use Programs
• Assisting partners in conducting clinical trials if applicable by leading the identification, at an early stage of potential opportunities for country participation, by assessment of recruitment potential and site eligibility based on knowledge from the field and through direct contacts with potential investigators
• Participation in review and approval process of grants/donations
• Handling of Medical Information Requests – responses to medical inquires in accordance with relevant SOP and evidence-based medicine where and when applicable
• Performing other professional duties in line with reference quality system documentation
• Developing positive image of Swixx amongst competitors, partners and other clients

Desired candidate profile

YOUR PROFILE

Academic level

• BS in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), provided you have sufficient work experience in medical affairs in pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Work experience

• At least 3 years’ experience as MSL in Kuwait is a must and in GCC is a plusPrevious experience in Neurology/Neuroscience and/or rare disease is a plus

Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with industry standards, codes and relevant legislation, including regulatory requirements and standards.
• Knowledge of general medicine and some specialty areas, pharmacology and clinical development.
• High level of professionalism, ability and willingness to work effectively with multiple products, projects and partners in cross-functional team settings.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player.
• Fluent in Arabic & English.
• Advanced literacy on Microsoft Office applications.
• Readiness for traveling on business purposes.
