Position IT manager
Location: Doha Qatar
Candidate should be locally available in Qatar
Job responsibility
Job Summary:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT team managing network security (firewalls DMZ) virtualized systems Windowsbased servers and workstations and ensuring the smooth functioning of Active Directory Group Policies web application filtering and other essential IT tasks. Additionally the IT Manager will manage IT spend budgets handle software licensing renewals and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure costeffective procurement of IT services and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management with a strong focus on network infrastructure virtualization system administration and budget management.
Handson experience with VMware ESXi or similar virtualization platforms.
Expertise in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory management.
Solid understanding of firewalls DMZ setup and network security best practices.
Proficient in managing switches routers and other network hardware.
Experience with Group Policies Web Application Filtering and VPN technologies.
Knowledge of disaster recovery backup solutions and IT project management.
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage IT budgets licensing and cost control.
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Desired Certifications (Preferred but not required):
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
