Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer for a full-time, on-site position. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, administration, and management of SharePoint environments, as well as contribute to software development initiatives that leverage the SharePoint platform.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust SharePoint solutions that meet the diverse needs of our organization. This includes working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing user-friendly interfaces, and implementing best practices for SharePoint development and administration. You will ensure that our SharePoint sites are not only functional but also aligned with the organization’s goals, enhancing collaboration and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SharePoint Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop customized SharePoint solutions that improve workflows and enhance user experience. This involves creating site structures, workflows, and customized pages that cater to specific business needs.

2. Administration and Management: Oversee the administration of SharePoint sites, including user permissions, site collections, and content management. Ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and performs optimally.

3. Software Development: Utilize .NET Core to develop applications that integrate with SharePoint, providing seamless functionality for end-users. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and implementing automated testing.

4. Power Platform Integration: Leverage the Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages, to create powerful business solutions. This includes developing custom applications, automating processes, and generating insightful reports.

5. Database Management: Write and maintain SQL Server database functions, stored procedures, views, and tables to support SharePoint applications. You will ensure that the data architecture aligns with best practices and provides efficient access to data.

6. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify needs and provide training on SharePoint features and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages, with a strong ability to integrate these tools into SharePoint solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in .NET Core, showcasing the ability to build scalable and efficient applications.
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimizing database functions, stored procedures, views, and tables to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
