Role Summary
As a Proposal Writer in our Sales Team, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business through technical sales support. The successful candidate will work closely with our Sales & Business Development Team to ensure that technical submittals align with project requirements, budget constraints, and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities
As a Technical Architect (Proposal Writer/Engineer) with focus on business development through QA/QC for project sales, you will:
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate specifications that outline the quality, performance, and installation requirements of selected products.
- Oversee the specification process, documentation, and preparation of technical proposals by the research and selection of appropriate materials, based on project specifications, budget, and design requirements.
- Publish Technical Submittals, Product Presentations and Visual Communication tools of our product portfolio tailored for the Sales Team and Potential Clients.
- Stay updated on market needs, industry regulations and standards related to drywall systems and building finishes.
- Maintain the firm's comprehensive technical library of product specifications, approvals, testing and TDS - Technical Data Sheets.
- Review and evaluate product samples to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Review and update client approvals for ongoing and completed projects in a timely manner.
- In charge of the Document Control, digital and printed archive of the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on specification-related matters.
- Ability to assist the cost & estimation team by managing incomplete inquiries via the gathering and analysis of sufficient data from clients and bids.

Desired candidate profile
Eligible Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree qualifications in Engineering or related field are mandatory.
- Possess 5 years of experience in technical sales targeting project sales within Kuwait; preferably in the construction industry and Building Solutions/Building Material products.
- Knowledge of drywall systems or related construction products is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, writing, communication and time management skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to produce technical and shop drawings, diagrams, and other visual communication tools necessary to convey documentation.
- Knowledge and familiarity with BOQs, Project Specifications and tender documents.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision.
- Willingness to commute to client meetings, project sites and industry events whenever needed.
- Initiative-taking, goal-oriented, punctual and diligent individual who can work effectively as part of a team.
- Candidate should also have an existing strong consultant & contractor network in Kuwait.
- Fluency in computer software like (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD)
- Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a transferrable Visa.
- Preferably have a valid driver’s license and car.
- Fluency in English is compulsory; Arabic and any other languages are advantageous.
