Key responsibilities include:

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field. A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in desertification control or land restoration projects is required, with at least five years in a directly applicable role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Expertise in Methodologies: Strong knowledge of desertification control methodologies and land restoration practices. This includes familiarity with both traditional techniques and innovative approaches tailored to arid environments.

• Ecological Knowledge: A deep understanding of arid region ecology, environmental sustainability, and soil conservation techniques. Candidates should be adept at recognizing ecological challenges and opportunities within specific landscapes.

• Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale afforestation and land restoration initiatives. This includes overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
