We are seeking an experienced Agroforestry Specialist to design and promote innovative agroforestry systems that enhance sustainable land use practices, in alignment with the Saudi Green Initiative. This role is critical in integrating forestry and agriculture to contribute to a greener future for Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing agroforestry techniques that not only promote environmental sustainability but also support local communities.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Promotion of Agroforestry Systems:
- Develop and implement agroforestry systems that enhance land use sustainability within the framework of the Saudi Green Initiative. This involves creating models that combine forestry and agriculture effectively, considering ecological and economic factors.

- Provide expert technical assistance to integrate forestry and agricultural practices, ensuring that both sectors work synergistically. This requires a deep understanding of forest-agriculture interactions and their ecological implications.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of agroforestry and sustainable land management practices, along with a strong understanding of the ecological impacts of forest-agriculture interactions.
- Community Engagement: Proven experience in promoting sustainable agriculture practices and engaging with communities to foster participation and ownership.
