We are seeking a seasoned professional to support the Project Management Office (PMO) of environmental projects under the Saudi Green Initiative. This role is critical in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and align with our overarching environmental goals. Your expertise in governance, resource management, and project delivery will be vital to our success.
Key Responsibilities:

Governance and Resource Management:
- Support the PMO in establishing and maintaining governance frameworks that ensure adherence to project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in resource allocation and management, ensuring that project teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet objectives.

Project Management Tools and Dashboards:
- Implement and maintain project management tools and dashboards to effectively track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
- Utilize these tools to provide real-time updates and analytics, enhancing visibility across all stakeholders.

Objective Setting and Deliverable Definition:
- Collaborate with project teams to establish clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliverables for each project.
- Facilitate discussions to ensure alignment with the Saudi Green Initiative’s goals and community expectations.

Project Reviews and Risk Assessment:
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress against established timelines and deliverables.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to project teams on project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and encouraging the adoption of effective project management techniques.

Reporting and Insights:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing project performance, insights, and recommendations for future projects.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess project data, providing actionable insights to enhance decision-making.
Desired candidate profile
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience managing environmental or governance projects, ideally as a Project Management Consultant.
- PMO Expertise: Strong understanding of PMO frameworks and tools, with a proven track record of effective project execution.
- Relevant Experience: Familiarity with afforestation, water management, or government projects is highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Governance and Tracking Systems: Experience implementing governance frameworks and project tracking systems to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to evaluate project performance and support data-driven decision-making.
