Welders play a critical role in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and automotive, by joining metal components together through welding processes. This position requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:

Welding Techniques:
- Operate various welding equipment and tools, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding machines.
- Perform welds on a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals to meet project specifications.

Blueprint Interpretation:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
- Ensure that all welds adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Preparation and Setup:
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting to ensure optimal weld quality.
- Set up welding machines and adjust settings according to the thickness and type of materials being joined.

- Inspect welds for strength and quality, using tools such as calipers and gauges.
- Perform tests to ensure structural integrity, including visual inspections and non-destructive testing methods.

Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
