Roles and responsibilities

The primary objective of this position is to develop, deliver, and communicate compelling visual concepts that promote the brand, products, and services within the store environment. This role also involves training and coaching the store team to effectively execute merchandise-based visual presentations (VP) and manage the daily, weekly, and seasonal VP tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Image:
A crucial responsibility is to ensure that the brand identity and presentation standards are consistently achieved in both window displays and in-store environments. This includes creating eye-catching displays that also incorporate commercial sales opportunities, thereby enhancing customer engagement and driving sales.

Implementation of Visual Merchandising Standards:
You will implement brand-specific visual merchandising standards by coordinating store displays in alignment with brand guidelines and overall strategy. This involves developing effective floor plans that maximize visual impact, arranging merchandise, signage, and fixtures, and following an in-store layout guide.

Merchandise Arrangement:
Your role includes arranging merchandise in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and commercially viable. You will take photographs of all changes made to merchandise displays to track progress and maintain consistency.

Creative Use of Lighting:
Utilizing creative lighting techniques for window displays will be essential in attracting customer attention and highlighting new merchandise.

Maximizing New Trends:
You will be responsible for maximizing the placement of new product lines and re-merchandising the store to align with emerging trends. This includes creating store layouts based on product categories to ensure that items are properly showcased.

Feedback and Evaluation:
Collecting reviews and feedback on merchandise displays will be part of your responsibilities to continuously improve the visual merchandising strategy.

Desired candidate profile

You will work closely with both the operations team and brand management to identify opportunities for increasing sales. Collaboration with the Visual Merchandising (VM) Manager and sales team will be crucial in achieving commercial goals.

Pre-Opening Involvement:
You will also be involved in the pre-opening of new stores, ensuring that the brand’s standards are implemented correctly and adhered to. Regular visits to stores will be necessary to oversee compliance and offer support where needed.

Market Research:
Conducting research on current market trends and lifestyle changes will help you tailor visual merchandising strategies to align with consumer preferences. This insight will enable the creation of dynamic displays that resonate with customers and drive sales.
