Roles and responsibilities

Plexus Corp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our EMEA team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for candidates based anywhere within Europe who are passionate about identifying and validating profitable business opportunities in the electronics and engineering design sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be instrumental in filling our opportunity funnel by proactively seeking out and validating new business opportunities. You will ensure that each opportunity receives the attention it deserves, allowing Plexus to secure and protect these ventures. By actively listening to customer needs, you will present tailored Plexus solutions that not only meet client requirements but also drive revenue growth.

A significant aspect of your role will involve building consensus among cross-functional teams. You will influence operational teams to support booking new business and collaborate with the pricing team to enhance our win rate. Establishing deep consultative credibility in assigned sectors will be essential, as you aim to be recognized as a subject matter expert by our target accounts.

Professional representation of Plexus Corp is vital. You will cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations, ensuring that Plexus is viewed as a trusted partner. Additionally, you will contribute to our "Best People" strategy by evaluating potential team members, driving succession planning, and offering development and coaching opportunities.

Mastery of Plexus’s sales enablement methodology is crucial, and you will collaborate with the business development team to follow up on leads effectively. Utilizing our CRM tool will help you track and communicate sales activities efficiently. You will also be responsible for reporting on high-level opportunities and addressing the day-to-day needs of potential customers.


Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A proven track record in creating business opportunities within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or engineering design environment is essential. You should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely and effective recommendations.

Your ability to influence others, resolve conflicts, and negotiate effectively will be critical to your success. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
