To support this rapid expansion, we’re seeking experienced Software Engineers specializing in back-end development with Ruby on Rails. This is a unique opportunity for you to shape our product and directly impact our customer experience by developing scalable solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our tech team. Reporting directly to our Tech Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with our Product Manager to review project specifications and requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed integration plans, breaking down projects into manageable tasks, and providing accurate estimations. You will engage in hands-on code implementation, participate in pull requests, conduct code reviews, and perform rigorous testing to ensure the quality of our codebase.

You’ll work alongside Michael, our co-founder and CTO, as well as a talented team that includes web developers, Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), and data scientists. This collaborative environment fosters innovation and encourages you to share your ideas and insights.

In addition to the opportunity to influence our product roadmap, you will have the freedom to run experiments and propose new ideas, ensuring that your creativity and technical expertise are utilized. Desired candidate profile

What We’re Looking For

We are primarily searching for candidates with a robust focus on back-end development, particularly in Ruby on Rails. While we appreciate full-stack expertise, your proficiency in back-end engineering is essential.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience: You should have a proven track record as a back-end or full-stack software engineer, with recent hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails being mandatory. Experience in tech startups or similarly agile environments is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving large-scale products that serve thousands of users.

• Strong Communication Skills: You must possess excellent collaborative and communication abilities, with fluency in English.
