To participate in this project, it is essential that you are a native speaker of the target language. Below are the key steps and requirements for involvement:

1. Language Proficiency Verification: Candidates will need to engage in a live phone conversation to demonstrate their language skills. This step is crucial for ensuring that all participants meet the required proficiency levels.

2. Personal Information Disclosure: Participants must be prepared to share personal information with our end customer. This is necessary for project transparency and to facilitate communication.

3. Invoicing Requirements: Successful candidates should be capable of invoicing us for the work they complete. This is important for processing payments and maintaining clear financial records.

4. Suitability Survey: All interested participants must complete a Suitability Survey. This survey will help us assess your qualifications and fit for the project.

5. Freelancer Registration: Candidates are required to register as freelancers on our website. When completing the registration, please include the phrase “LLM2024” in the introduction section, alongside your personal or company information. This phrase will help us identify your application as part of this specific project.

6. Language Pairs: In your registration, it is important to specify all the language pairs you work with that include English in both directions. For example, if you are proficient in English and Yiddish, you should indicate both English-Yiddish and Yiddish-English. This detail is crucial for us to match you with the right tasks.

Desired candidate profile

Target Languages: We are currently looking for participants who are native speakers in the following languages:

• Canadian French
• Welsh
• Scottish Gaelic
• Icelandic
• Irish
• Irish Gaelic
• Māori

Compensation Details: Participants will receive compensation for their work on this project. The pay rates vary based on the type of tasks performed, with compensation set at $25 to $28 per hour. The specific rate will depend on the nature of the assignment you undertake.
