Roles and responsibilities

As an Insurance Coordinator at Tasnee HQ, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of our insurance strategy and strategic initiatives for Support Functions. Your primary objective will be to drive the implementation of approved strategic goals, ensuring that our insurance processes align with the company's broader objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Insurance Renewal Coordination:

    • Collect and analyze insurance renewal information, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
    • Coordinate with insurance brokers, companies, surveyors, and claim settling agents to facilitate a smooth renewal process.
  2. Insurance Policy Administration:

    • Oversee and manage various insurance policies, including Property, Marine, Engineering, and Miscellaneous (excluding Medical).
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining up-to-date records of all insurance policies.
  3. Risk Improvement Follow-Up:

    • Collaborate with site managers to follow up on risk improvement recommendations.
    • Track and report on the implementation of these recommendations, ensuring that the organization continuously mitigates risks.
  4. Payment Request Preparation:

    • Prepare payment requests within SAP, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Follow up with the Finance department until payments are successfully processed and released.
  5. Incident Notification:

    • Promptly notify insurance brokers of any incidents that may require attention, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated effectively.
  6. Claims Records Maintenance:

    • Maintain comprehensive records of all claims, tracking their status and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
    • Support the claims process by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-up on claims submissions.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in insurance or a similar relevant area. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

A solid understanding of ERP systems, specifically SAP, is a must, as you will be utilizing this software for payment requests and other administrative tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is also crucial, as these tools will aid in data management and reporting.

Your ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain meticulous records, and communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role. We seek a proactive individual who can drive strategic initiatives and contribute to the overall success of Tasnee’s support functions.
