Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Network Engineer to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining troubleshooting and enhancing our network infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some practical experience in networking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Support the management of network security including firewalls and VPNs.
- Document network configurations procedures and incidents.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network projects and upgrades.
- Conduct routine network assessments and contribute to reports on network performance.
- Provide technical support to internal users and assist with resolving connectivity issues.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP etc.).
- Familiarity with network devices (routers switches firewalls) and monitoring tools.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Cisco CCNA) are a plus but not required.
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and monitoring tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
