- 1 years of employee and performance management experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Fluent in both Arabic and English

Were seeking an Area Manager to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center. Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazons rapidly growing Operations network: theyre where we manage our fastmoving inventory. Theyre also where we developed our industryleading workflows. Our teams stow deliveries pick products package them up and ship them out: each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today.

About the role and responsibilities:
Youll be responsible as a manager for one of the main teams in your FC: receive stow pick pack or ship. Along with your peers youll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met if not exceeded.
In the operations team you enter and lead well be entrusting a team of approximately 80 to 120 associates to you. Youll drive the training and integration of your team while motivating and inspiring forward progress. All the while youll exercise sound judgement making sure progress and KPI targets are worked towards and met.
While you achieve this youll ensure motivation engagement and performance:
- Youll need to safeguard your teams safety promoting Amazons Health and Safety standards
- Youll lead crossfunctional teams tasked with solving operational problems
- Youll uphold Amazons high standards of process quality
- Youll maintain inventory accuracy
- Youll strive to improve and streamline processes
- Youll become a subject matter expert on larger FC processes and activities
- Youll actively share and promote best practices with your colleagues and network
Suitable candidates need to have command of both English and Arabic.
Key job responsibilities
- Ensure the KPI targets are met
- Should be able to work with stakeholders actively and execute improvement projects on ground
- Work with teams to deliver and stick to the required schedules
- Deliver good carrier experience
- Work with carriers to engage on linehaul performance discussions and other requirements
- Work closely with Procurement finance and other stakeholders to help resolve carrier issues
- Bachelors degree in business engineering operations supply chain transportation logistics
