Your primary objective will be to develop existing or new business by coordinating all business development actions triggering opportunities within your specified vertical for larger accounts. You will do this by working with a variety of internal external stakeholders ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
Your Role
Acting as a bridge between our customers and our business units National Sales Business Development Managers are responsible for gaining new/additional business as well as keeping/growing existing customers in line with the business units strategies. Also as important is hunting for new customers within Saudi Arabia and overall delivering further growth for KuehneNagel.
Your Responsibilities
- Actively maintain and develop own client portfolio and sell KuehneNagels services across business units.
- Maintain and develop close business relationships with client(s) and important stakeholders across industries.
- Develop existing and future customer base delivering business growth with both current and new Key Account clients.
- Preparation and review of the Key Account Plan in line with the development directions of the companys professional organizations and the entire companys budget plan.
- Assisting in the annual preparation of tender documents for companies managed by the department and actively participating in the escalation management of these companies.
- Responsibility for budget and P&L for nominated accounts.
- Coordination of client life cycles such as business development implementation business reviews and results.
- Ensure delivery of highquality services to clients in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the wider sales and business unit organisations on sales plans to develop and increase the KuehneNagel market share.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Proven experience within a Sales/Key Account/Business Development or any similar field and in Saudi Arabia market.
- An indepth understanding of the logistics business environment.
- Business development & relationship management skills.
- Highly customerfocused with an ability to build partnering relationships at senior levels.
- Ability to prioritise and organise work while handling multiple projects at the same time.
- Innovative with the ability to adapt to new technologies and develop new skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is a plus and a strong advantage.
