We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Senior or Principal Software Engineer with a focus on AdTech to join our innovative team. This role centers on the development of a cutting-edge defense platform aimed at combating cybercrime, specifically through identity management and security solutions tailored for the advertising technology sector.

Our client, a Brooklyn-based company founded in 2012, has grown from humble beginnings into a leader in cybersecurity solutions. Their flagship product, the Defense Platform, is pivotal in protecting enterprises against advanced bot attacks, fraud, and account misuse. Today, they authenticate over 20 trillion interactions weekly for some of the largest companies and leading online platforms, ensuring the authenticity of each transaction.

Project Overview

The products team is dedicated to developing sophisticated bot protection and anti-malvertising solutions specifically designed for AdTech companies. This project encompasses the onboarding and integration processes for various stakeholders, including Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), agencies, and publishers. The team also focuses on creating tailored protection solutions, reporting consoles, and APIs that seamlessly connect client systems to their data.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior/Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the project’s success. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on commonly used AdTech identifiers to analyze their functionality, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Vulnerability Investigation: Examine how AdTech companies manage their identity processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities and exploitation risks.
• Solution Development: Create innovative solutions to detect and mitigate identity-related security threats and hacking attempts.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong back-end development skills in languages such as Go, Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
• Extensive experience within the AdTech industry, particularly in identity management.
• A solid understanding of computer science principles.
• Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, offering coaching and expertise in identity management and security.
• Participate in meetings with executives and customers to discuss identity security risks and solutions.
