Roles and responsibilities

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our civil building projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously planning, executing, and finalizing projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership and excellent communication skills, as you will coordinate with a variety of stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: You will develop comprehensive project plans that outline the project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. This foundational step is crucial for guiding the project through its lifecycle.

Team Leadership: As the Project Manager, you will lead and manage project teams, which may include subcontractors and consultants. Your leadership will be essential to ensuring that all team members are aligned and working effectively towards the successful delivery of the project.

Budget Management: You will monitor project budgets rigorously, preparing cost estimates and controlling expenditures to keep the project financially viable. Effective budget management will be key to avoiding overruns and ensuring profitability.

Schedule Management: Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules is vital. You will ensure that all milestones are met on time, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate any unforeseen delays.

Stakeholder Communication: You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Providing regular updates and addressing any concerns will be essential for maintaining positive relationships and ensuring project success.

Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations is non-negotiable. You will implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
