Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Radar System Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Kuwait City. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and evaluation of radar systems and their components. Additionally, this position involves providing technical support and maintenance for existing radar systems to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Radar System Engineer will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:

1. Design and Development: You will be responsible for creating innovative radar system designs that meet specific operational requirements. This includes working on various radar components and ensuring they integrate seamlessly into larger systems.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in radar system design, development, and testing, demonstrating a deep understanding of radar technologies and applications.
• Proven expertise with the FPS-117 radar system from Lockheed Martin, including relevant certifications that validate your experience.
• Proficiency in radar signal processing and radar systems integration, with a track record of successfully implementing these processes in real-world scenarios.
• A strong knowledge of radar system components and technologies, allowing for informed decision-making during the design and troubleshooting phases.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving complex issues that may arise during the design or operational phases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are crucial for collaborating effectively with diverse teams and conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or a related field, is required to ensure a solid foundation in the principles of radar systems.
