To coordinate between the engineering to ensure all maintenance activities are ensured on time and to coordinate with other departments to ensure all their engineering requirements are fulfilled and to monitor and prepare required reports on day to day basis to facilitates required action.
Specific Job Knowledge Skill and Ability
The individual must possess the following knowledge skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Managing general hotel gardens maintenance and for both the gardens and garden area including basic carpentry and minor painting and decorating.
Monitor the preventive maintenance file on daily basis and communicate to the team.
Documentation of Preventive Maintenance records
Assist the Engineering store to update reports
Assist the team members to find records and documents from the engineering folders.
Prepare and maintain the engineering library and training room.
Organize and coordinate the department section meetings.
Document all training records.
Represent Engineering department for meetings if advised.
Monitor and analyse the guest satisfaction reports concern to Maintenance department.
Monitor the department team grooming issues and coordinate with section managers for improvements.
Monitor the department work safety issues and coordinate with section managers for improvements.
Documentation of work accidents and follow ups.
Coordinate with another department whenever assigned.
Communicate to the engineering team through documents about all the necessary information and daily basis.
Communicate and collect feedback from the team and report to the DOE & ADOE.
Coordinate all other maintenance requests/interventions with the departments concerned ensuring the right information are passed in a timely manner and interventions are done with minimal disturbances to operations.
Ensure good communication between Engineering Department and any other department.
Update engineering consumptions datas such as electricity fuel gas water consumption and also swimming pools readings etc. On a daily basis and all records should be up to date and available at all times.
Assist Engineers in preparing material requisitions for withdrawal from the Main and Engineering stores.
Qualifications :
Qualification Standards Education
High School graduate or equivalent required.
At least 2year college (associate) degree preferred.
Experience
Five years experience in the same field in hospitality.
