Under the general guidance and supervision of the Baker Chef assists in directing and controlling the whole bread production in a manner that ensures the highest level of bread quality sanitation in bread service and departmental profitability
- Comply with the Companys Corporate Code of Conduct
- Familiarize yourself with the company values and model desired behaviours.
- Is willing to learn and displays a lot of eagerness and enthusiasm for the work.
- Helps in preparing hot bread under the guidance of the Baker Chef
- Helps with the Kitchen sanitation try to reach the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Must attend all scheduled training and on the job training sessions.
- Ensure the highest level of personal hygiene; uniform is worn in the correct and cleanliness manner.
- Assists in checking all equipment and utensils and reports to the Baker Chef immediately if there is any fault.
- Conduct himself at all times in a professional and forthright manner
- Performs duties common to all nosupervisory personnel and other duties as may be assigned
- Promotes good employee relations
- Maintain a climate of trust and team spirit though out the operation
- Providing excellent selfdiscipline gains respect from all and inspires good team work
- Leading by example
- To attain and follow up on any guest complaints
- Guest suggestions have to be listened to and brought to the Executive Chefs attention
- Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures
