Director of Sales MICE & Group Sofitel Riyadh
- Director of Sales MICE & Group is responsible to maximize MICE & Group revenue and profit through proactive selling techniques calendar/time management and pricing strategy.
- Managing effectively the assigned accounts and develop new key accounts.
- Ensure the highest standards of MICE & Group business processes
- Ensure the MICE & Group team has the skills and knowledge required for highlevel performance
- On monthly basis review and analyse the individual team members revenue generation and analyse the account production.
- Implement an effective selling strategy and ensure this strategy is understood and executed by all team members
- Ensure fairness in vendor selection and with vendor pricing such that noncontracted customers receive the same rates (quotes) regardless of the chosen booking channel used
- Maintain strong internal control of the working environment such that it is always in compliance ACCOR Worldwide and the hotel brands policies and procedures
- Ensure communication meetings occur and are accompanied by documentation/minutes on a monthly basis
- Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Recruit manage train and develop the MICE & Group team
- Conduct individual team performance reviews and PDP for MICE team.
- Assist the DOSM in running the sales department.
Qualifications :
- 5 to 8 years of work experience with minimum 2 years of experience in similar role.
- Strong Operational/Technical Knowledge.
- PreOpening experience would be an added advantage.
- Experience in International Chain Hotels
- Understand revenue maximization tools.
- Assertive professional and positive with a proven ability to develop and lead in a team environment.
