Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to transform physical drawings into comprehensive CAD formats, including 3D modeling and related assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong drawing interpretation skills and be proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will involve capturing and defining requirements from physical drawings and accurately translating them into detailed CAD drawings. This includes the creation of 3D models and associated assemblies, ensuring that all designs align with project specifications. You will also be tasked with revising and modifying drawings as project needs evolve.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with technical teams to facilitate the seamless conversion of physical drawings into digital formats. Additionally, you will conduct quality checks on drawings to guarantee their accuracy and completeness, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

As part of the documentation process, you will generate Bills of Materials (BoM) and maintain organized CAD files and databases. This includes tagging drawings to corresponding assets for easy retrieval and reference. Effective communication with SAP integration and technical teams will be essential to ensure the success of projects.
