Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the relocation of LG data for the electricity division from IS-U to eCount, focusing on the establishment of an effective alerting system with alarm software for on-call services during nights and weekends. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong emphasis on coordination and planning to ensure a successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordination and Planning:

   • Lead the overall coordination and planning of the alerting system project.
   • Develop project timelines, set milestones, and allocate resources efficiently.
   • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.

2. Technical Clarification and Implementation:

   • Conduct thorough technical analyses to conceptualize and implement alert systems from various IT platforms.
   • Provide expert advice on configuring and adapting alerts in the eCount environment.
   • Oversee the structuring and configuration of telephone alerting software to meet operational needs.

3. Hypercare Phase Planning:

   • Design and plan the hypercare phase to ensure seamless support post-implementation.
   • Establish procedures for monitoring system performance and responsiveness during the hypercare period.

4. Simulation and Testing:

   • Conduct virtual simulations of disruption scenarios to test alert systems.
   • Verify the functionality of alerts through rigorous testing before the GoLive phase.

5. Fallback Scenario Development:

   • Create fallback scenarios to mitigate risks associated with the GoLive process.
   • Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes and contingencies.

Desired candidate profile

Required Skills:

• Project Management Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager and developer, with a track record of managing at least three successful projects.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly in agile settings.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of alerting processes and technologies.
  • Technical proficiency in relevant IT systems and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

• Agile Methodologies:

  • Experience working within agile frameworks and utilizing Scrum methodology.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
