We are looking to hire a housekeeper to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness.
Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
Collecting and disposing of trash.
Assisting guests when necessary.
Keeping the linen room stocked.
Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Make beds, washing and folding sheets
Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
Greet guests and take care of requests
Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
Able to lift at least 25 pounds
Willing to help others when needed
Work all assigned shifts
Have reliable transportation
As Executive Housekeeper you’ll keep all aspects of housekeeping and laundry running smoothly - and ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences.

Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Work well unsupervised.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
High school diploma.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
Hard worker.
High school diploma or GED.
Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
Working knowledge of housekeeping.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to multitask.
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Effective communication skills.
Make sure the quality of housekeeping and laundry services is always superb - we have standards - but it’s down to you to make rooms special and memorable for guests
Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction
Carry out special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members
Help guests with their questions and complaints to achieve complete guest satisfaction
