Roles and responsibilities
The Product Lead BU POC / MDx is responsible for driving the strategic direction and implementation of the Business Unit's Point of Care (POC) and Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) lines of business across Eastern Europe, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Israel. This role involves close collaboration with territory Business Managers and BU Regional Marketing to define and execute global initiatives, including strategic planning, portfolio pipeline prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
What you'll be doing:
- Define and implement regional strategies and plans for the Business Unit (BU) Point of Care (POC) and Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) lines of businesses in collaboration with territory Business Managers.
- Develop strategic elements such as value proposition, positioning, segmentation, differentiation, clinical application, operational needs, competitive intelligence, and overall market knowledge.
- Interacting with Cluster Business Managers, Marketing Managers, Administration, Customer Care, and Distributor personnel throughout the Eastern Europe, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sub-Saharan Africa (English Speaking Africa) and Israel.
- Define and deploy global initiatives, including strategic plans, portfolio pipeline prioritization, business cases, and global go-to-market processes in collaborating with Business Managers and BU Regional Marketing.
- Conducting regional voice of customer activities, closely collaborating with local teams, and generating market insights to represent the current and future needs of the EEMEA region.
- Implements strategic elements into tactical plans aimed at generating leads and additional business, either through direct marketing initiatives or by creating support elements for the sales force. These tactical elements span multiple channels, including conferences, exhibitions, and user meetings, among others
- Strong commercial leadership, product management, and support, involving intense interaction with Cluster Business Managers, Cluster Marketing Managers, Regional business units Marketing Managers, and other functions within the EMEA and global teams.
- Coordinating application support provided by distributors to maintain a high level of end-user satisfaction through training, communication, follow-up, support assessment, and modifications.
Desired candidate profile
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor of Science and at least five years of healthcare-related technical or scientific support experience, along with three years of international marketing expertise in developing and executing business plans. Proven leadership in commercial organizations is a plus. Fluency in English and advanced communication skills are essential for influencing and persuading stakeholders.
