We are seeking ambitious, forward-thinking, and open-minded individuals to join our global team as we expand our presence in the Automotive Replacement market. This remote position, based in any SEE & ADRIA country, reports directly to our Regional Sales Manager for SEE. As a Sales Manager, you will lead our sales efforts across Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Greece.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with Automotive Aftermarket experience. You will be responsible for strategically planning and executing sales initiatives to maximize our impact in your designated territory. Your keen insights into the competitive landscape and understanding of customer needs will empower you to effectively communicate the unique advantages of Gates products.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong connections with existing customers while proactively identifying new opportunities. Your ability to build trust and rapport will be crucial in fostering long-term partnerships.
Market Assessment: Keep a pulse on market trends and customer feedback to continuously enhance our service offerings. Your analytical skills will help us stay ahead of the competition and adapt to evolving customer needs.
Customer Follow-Up: Manage all aspects of follow-up with jobbers, garages, and distributors. You will also be responsible for administrative activities related to these interactions, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Competitive Scoping: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand competitive dynamics, product requirements, and customer expectations. This information will be vital in shaping our sales strategies and product offerings.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in economics, technical fields, company law, or a related area. You should have at least 5 years of field experience, showcasing your commercial and technical abilities. As a self-motivator and self-starter, you will bring market knowledge and problem-solving skills to the table. Fluency in English is a must, along with proficiency in one of the CEE languages.
